For Parents Interested in Obtaining a Child Care Referral
Q: Are the providers on your database all licensed?
A: Yes, all the providers in our Referral Database are licensed by the State of California.
Q: Will they be close to my home?
A: Our Referral Specialists will do their best to find the provider that can meet your needs who is within a 0- to 1-mile radius of your home or the location of your choice (school, work, etc.). In some cases, however, it may be necessary to extend the search to find a provider that can best meet your needs.
Q: Can you give me the provider’s address?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot release the child care provider’s address. FRRC will provide you with the provider’s name, phone number, hours of operation, and ages of children in their care.
Q: I’m having a hard time finding a provider because my child has special needs.
A: Our Referral Specialists will do their best to find a provider who cares for children with your child’s specific needs. |
