Parents as Teachers Programs

PLAY: Playful Learning Adventures for Young Children

Provides in-home parent education and support services to families with children ages 0 to 5. This project serves parents in the Tracy Unified School District attendance areas of McKinley, North, South/West Park, and Central Elementary Schools.

School Readiness 0-3

Provides in-home parent education and support services to families with children ages 0 to 3. This project serves parents in the Lincoln Unified School District attendance areas of Tully C. Knoles, Lincoln Elementary, Don Riggio, Village Oaks, Claudia Landeen, and Colonial Heights.

Oak View School Readiness Program

Provides in-home parent education and support services to families with children ages 0 to 5. This project serves parents in Acampo’s Oak View Elementary School attendance area.

Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP)

A training and support program for individuals who are starting their first family child care home and/or for licensed providers expanding their license to provide care for infants and toddlers.

Quality Environments for All Children

Incorporates the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) to improve program quality for licensed child care providers with Inclusion Services: resources, observation, technical assistance, and support to child care providers and parents with children exhibiting behavior issues who may be at risk of developmental delays and to those children with identified special needs. This project serves child care providers and parents throughout San Joaquin County.

Preschool for All

Provides 4-year-old children the opportunity to attend, free of charge, a quality preschool program prior to starting Kindergarten. This project serves families living within the Manteca Unified School District boundaries.
