FRRC's Provider Referrals
Families enrolled for services through FRRC’s Subsidized Child Care programs are assisted in choosing a child care provider that meets the needs of the family from the full range of licensed Family Child Care Homes and Child Care Centers; exempt providers, including TrustLine registered providers; and relative care options. We maintain a database of licensed providers. Any licensed child care provider who chooses to be part of the Resource & Referral database will receive child care referrals at no cost.

Counseling and assistance with choosing quality child care are provided to parents; however, we do not make recommendations to specific child care programs. Basic child care consumer information is also provided, along with referrals to those caregivers contained in FRRC’s Child Care Services referral files, upon request.
In the best interest of children and families, FRRC recommends to parents/guardians that they thoroughly research a provider and site before placing their children to ensure that it is the type of environment they and their children feel comfortable in and is best-suited to their needs.
For information regarding basic health & safety codes, please call the State Department of Social Services-Community Care Licensing at (916) 229-4530.
