"We have had the great fortune to participate in one of Family Resource and Referral Center's child care/daycare programs for the past year. Our granddaughter has received exemplary care through the program and we have been very happy with her child care provider and her staff. The staff is very professional and at the same time very personable. We are very happy with the care she receives and would not think of changing our provider for any reason. In addition to anticipating and meeting all of our granddaughter's physiological needs, the daycare team assists and supports her with a variety of educational and social-emotional support. For example, the staff has been trained in the guidelines and benefits of proper health and nutrition. Monthly classes are also held for parents and guardians on these topics and more. The daycare team also provides a wide variety of academic and educational curriculum and opportunities for learning on a daily basis.

Prior to meeting the eligibility requirements for the program, our granddaughter was in another daycare setting that did not participate in FRRC's program. It was very expensive and presented a significant financial hardship for us. Once our granddaughter was accepted into this program, we were able to expand our budget for her with regards to purchasing appropriate educational and technological items to further her academic and social-emotional development. We feel strongly that our granddaughter is growing and learning at an accelerated rate in her current daycare setting and that fact is directly related to the superior staff and programming provided through the FRRC program. We are very grateful that this program is in place and there is no doubt in our mind that this program has been significantly instrumental in our granddaughter's cognitive and positive social-emotional development. We would recommend this program to anyone considering daycare."

"I am a recipient of FRRC benefits . . . I wanted to take the time to put in a good word for Mrs. Curran and let you know that she's a fabulous worker and person. Mrs. Curran is always friendly, sweet, and helpful. Everytime I call the Stockton office and she answers, she's always courteous and kind, especially because I never have my ID# handy and she never complains about having to look it up every single time! I just wanted to let you know that Mrs. Curran is doing an outstanding job and makes my experience with FRRC quite a pleasant one."

"First and foremost, I would like to say thank you to all the wonderful staff at FRRC. It has been an honor and a privilege to be a client with all of you. It saddens me, but at the same time makes me happy, to no longer need FRRC's help to [provide child] care for my child. My daughter is now of school age and I have been a client practically since she was born. I have had an opportunity to go many places with the help that I have received from FRRC. Without this help, I may have never been able to maintain my job. I want to say thank you to the office staff for all the times you helped me, and to all my workers for your patience and your openness and willingness to help me as a client. I want to say that you are all awesome."

"I just wanted to tell you thank you for everything you have done for me and my daughter. Being a single parent sometimes is hard. I don't know what I would be doing right now if it wasn't for your staff that care so much about kids, especially my daughter. I have come a long way thanks to your program. Thank you for caring."

"I received your package for the recertification and . . . I am receiving full nursing care for my son. This program allows Kenny to come home and be in his own space instead of the day care center. . . . I have to say I am forever in your gratitude for all the help you and your center have offered and provided to my son. . . . You and your entire staff were very professional and helpful in filling out all the paperwork to enroll in your program. We will never forget the help we have received from you. . . . and I can say your assistance and understanding has given comfort to us during our time of need. Thank you all.”

"I am a grateful parent . . . because I was able to fulfill my dreams of going to college and becoming an elementary school teacher. Much of this accomplishment I owe to a place that helped in my time of need. I was only 19 years old with a brand new baby, enrolled in college, and wondering how I would ever complete my dreams. I continued my college career and my daughter was able to attend daycare. I would have never been able to afford daycare, as well as college expenses, if it was not for a place called Family Resource & Referral Center. . . . Thank you for being a piece of the puzzle to make my dreams come true for my daughter and myself. It is agencies like yours that truly make a difference in people’s lives. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”
